One warm evening, Tom lit the fire and we sat around it drinking our hot chocolate. We talked and told jokes while feeling toasty. I listened to the laughter echoing through the bushes. It started getting darker, later, and colder. We all went back inside and fell asleep. I woke up with a hot breeze rushing into my face. "Ahh",I screamed. I ran out the sliding door with sweat running down my face. I met my friends outside as the rescue helicopters flew over our heads. The fire from last night must of spread. I thought. I thought of the devastation it must of caused.
